What's new in v2.4?#

New Components#

  • Navbar - A new component used for top navigation.
  • IconBadge - A new component used for displaying icons with a badge.

Improvements#

  • Removed all Component.defaultProps definitions
  • Fixed issue where width would not be applied to the SearchInput container element
  • Fixed SearchInput reset when uncontrolled
  • Fixed theme incompatibility with Chakra UI 2.8

The Navbar component represents a top navigation bar that typically contains links or buttons for navigating to different sections of a website or application.

  • Navbar Documentation

Usage#

The Navbar component can be used together with AppShell and supports different placement modes, static, sticky. It can also be easily styled to add a glass effect for example.
